Description

Making the two-day digital haemophilia symposium with its complex specialist content interesting is a challenge in itself. Furthermore, in November 2021 it was the second digital symposium: with the same guests, the same location, the same hosts and basically the same structure. With this in mind, onliveline took a new approach and turned the event into a narrative.

The fictitious scene was the flat share of the two hosts: doctors and experts who presented the topic of haemophilia. They and their “house guest” greeted the guests and speakers at their home. The “monitoring cameras” showed the flat in black and white, while the “guest cameras” moved through the flat curiously and in colour, looking around and becoming part of the discussion. Every discussion ended with take home messages, which were printed out from the digital version by the subtenants and provided to the house guest.

The guests could interact with the hosts through a platform, send postcards to the flat share, discuss with the speakers, applaud and take part interactively in various formats. There was a for and against battle regarding hot topics, which everyone could participate in. The event also included a poster exhibition and various awards.
