Anniversary Street Festival – 125 Years of Richard Schulz
Description
The civil engineering company Richard Schulz Tiefbau took the opportunity on the occasion of their 125-year anniversary to thank the people behind the trademark and the company’s success: the employees. Richard Schulz wanted to say thank you with a nighttime indoor street festival and bring all 1200 employees from 13 branches together for the first time.
VOSS+FISCHER designed an appealing and coherent event that cleverly integrated elements of road construction. Alongside 56 site fences that illustrated the history of the company, vehicles from different eras showcased the inventions of the respective time – from vintage cars and historical road rollers up to the futuristic hydrogen car.
The opening of the game stations, bars and food trucks kicked off the party, followed by an interactive building site Olympiad taking place along the anniversary street. Colleagues could put their skills to the test with pylon hurling or traffic sign noughts and crosses. Various show acts provided a musical and atmospheric backdrop. Contents of the event were shared before, during and after the occasion on social media and the corporate website.
