Description

The Italian artist Edoardo Tresoldi designs building-sized, transparent architecture from wire. For an private royal event in Abu Dhabi, he realized expansive, ghostly sculptures, domes, columns and arches on an area of 7,000 square meters.

For this event, he says he has created a garden in which architecture and nature dance together. Classical archetypes interact with signs of modern language. Contrasts are created between transparent and non-transparent, classical and modern as well as architectural and natural elements.

The project was developed in cooperation with the Dubai-based Studio Designlab Experience over a period of 3 months. After the event, parts of the installation were exhibited in universities, parks and museums.

The entertainment portion the event was produced by Andrey Fomin – a famous Russina Actor and director.
