AT&S Erlebniswelt: Interactive Exhibition
Description
With the “AT&S Erlebniswelt”, the manufacturer of IC substrates and high-end printed circuit boards presented an interactive exhibition and a journey of discovery into the digital world of tomorrow. A dramaturgical overall framework, three interactive islands in the foyer and a tour through production were created in cooperation with look! design. The Ars Electronica Future Lab rounded off the project with a 3D cinema and interactive, illuminated nerve pathways along the façade.
All the worldwide locations can be virtually visited at the islands in the foyer, along with discovering the fields of application of the high-tech products. Tablets allow multimedia explorations of individual products, while a digital model enables the complex structure of a multilayered circuit board to be examined layer by layer. A further station is dedicated to the wide range of jobs and tasks at AT&S, with information about current career opportunities.
The spatial design in the foyer harmonises with the colour palette and materials of the building. At the same time, the form language reflects the winding of conductor paths. The spatial design, technology and corporate design merge into an inviting dynamic. The production stations are deliberately modest so as not to disrupt the work processes. A blue surface serves as a backdrop and visual frame, while lighting elements direct the attention of visitors.
