The event “Best of Belron 2018” brought together more than 2000 partners, employees and suppliers in Frankfurt over a period of two days. The subsidiary of Carglass would like to pursue several aims at the same time with this regularly held event. Its purpose is to value their own employees, as well as to introduce partners and suppliers to the latest technologies and tools under real working conditions. At the event in 2018 managed by Uniplan, there was anniversary of the 10th “Best of Belron” in addition.
The central concept is understood as an unconventional championship with the 30 Best Belron car window specialists in the world. Four competitions were held in which the participants had to prove their skills and knowledge. Apart from a conference with renowned speakers, an exhibition with brands from the automobile industry, a prize award, a gala dinner and several side events took place in 2018 showcasing various dinner locations and activities. An event app offered the visitors an overview and the possibility to put together a personalized agenda.
The spatial design was oriented towards the typical belron workshops: yellow floor markings, workshop lighting and work benches. All media, graphics and set designs brought together the corporate design and a championship character. The whole competition was accompanied by a reporter and broadcast live. Reviews, interviews and videos were produced in addition and uploaded onto the YouTube brand channel. Facebook and Instagram posts kept the online public up to date.
