“Clouds”: Balloon Projection & Fashion Show

If you are looking for an unconventional roofing for an event, this project can be an inspiration: A balloon sky that the architecture and design studio ma0 designed for a fashion show of the IED Moda in Rome.
The large, white, gas-filled balloons floated like clouds over the audience. They served both as a spatial object and as a projection surface. Two large mirror walls reflected the balloon sky and expanded the video projection slowly flowing in circular movements. At the end of the show the clouds slowly dissolved, balloons flew away, were taken and followed the guests to the nightly festivities.
