Description

For the annual convention of the pharmaceutical company Daiichi-Sankyo Germany in May 2020, a new digital format had to be developed and realised. The challenge for the handling agency onliveline consisted in designing an event that was inclusive, informative, interactive and with a large proportion of co-creation, despite social distancing. The headquarters of the company became the broadcasting location of the event in this format. Seven offices, meeting rooms and coffee kitchens were transformed into a broadcasting studio – at the same time forging a personal connection.

The two-day convention programme featured an effective and entertaining design, through format switches and interaction, with variety provided by memorable input sessions, playful storylines, switching between streaming, integrated zoom sessions and co-creating, active breaks, live broadcasts into the home office and surveys. The moderator provided guidance through the convention as a pleasant host. The employees could compile their own profile through a designated platform, as well as follow the livestream, immerse themselves in workshops, ask and answer questions, upload photographs and participate in the start of a gamification action that transitioned to the next event. This resulted in a combination of meaningful content, interesting entertainment and real interaction.
