Description

ENAEX, a worldwide company in the explosives industry, held a two-day event for the first time at their head office in Santiago: the ENAEX Global Summit. It brought together a select group of managers and interest groups from the mining sector. The aim was to allow the participants to exchange experiences and to acquire information about innovations and the use of technological resources. In order to emphasise the subject of technology as the content focus of the event, a special co-moderator was appointed. Pepper, a humanoid robot programmed for communication, not only guided the guests through the evening but was also one of the highlights.

The spatial concept and design by Faure focused on a very personal and intimate experience. Comfortable seating was positioned in front of an oval stage. A cosy atmosphere with subtle lighting on the participants’ tables promoted wellbeing and exchanges. The walls behind the stage were animated with images from the universe. The shots were sourced from astronomy centres in the north of Chile, where some of the largest mining sites of the country are situated. The simple but atmospheric setting was accompanied by projections of Chilean landscapes throughout the dinner.
