Description

The new EQS by Mercedes-EQ is the car manufacturer‘s first fully electric luxury vehicle. To present EQS to the public and to strengthen the presence of the Mercedes-EQ brand in China, Uniplan developed a roadshow that halted in ten Chinese cities despite the challenges of the pandemic.

In cooperation with artists and partners, a space full of futuristic technology experiences was created. It was designed to combine sustainability and technology and to inspire new ideas for a better future.

The pavilion designed with the studio Atelier I-N-D-J caused a stir with its façade alone, which combined the media architecture and optical illusions. In the interior, a variety of content and films awaited the visitors. It included a story that transported the public into the future and invited them to imagine the world of tomorrow. A further highlight was the abstract film by multimedia artist GMUNK, which aimed at generating an immersive and sensory experience.
