In 2018, Etihad Airways celebrated its 15th birthday. This was to be marked not only with an exclusive and impressive VIP event, but also with a new accessories collection. For this purpose, Etihad got together with Diane von Fürstenberg and designed a limited collection. Accordingly, apart from the anniversary, the newly developed fabric patterns were also a content and design focus of the event.
The choice of event location was the Louvre Abu Dhabi with its spectacular architecture, opened as recently as 2017. The agencies Focus, AboutKokomo and Flora&Faunavisions made use of Jean Nouvel‘s cubic architecture and animated it with giant projections guided by seamless transitions. The content core of the projections was the exclusive patterns of the limited collection, which not only contributed to the extraordinary spatial effect but in this manner were present throughout the evening.
