Description

How do you visualize the process of creating a comic book? Simply pinning sketches and research material on walls is a possibility, but not a particularly creative one. The agency Raumservice came up with a simple and beautiful idea, with which they approached formally the medium of book.

The workshop exhibition "Blåvand" within the scope of the Comic Book Prize 2018 was intended to show the status quo of the comic book book by Tim Dinter and Thomas Pletzinger. Sketches, research materials and pages of the book were applied to perforated plates. Instead of simply fixing them flat on the walls, they were mounted on hinges movable. Thus, the visitors were animated to touch and could browse through selected pages of the work process.

A basically simple, charming and good idea for smaller budgets.
