Description

The brand Lufthansa German Airlines gathered its employees in autumn 2022 to celebrate the latest and most sustainable plane of its fleet, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The objective of the event concepted, planned and implemented by  eisele Communications and VOSS+FISCHER was to bring the participants together, convey pride in their brand and motivate them for a promising future.

The B787 roll-in event under the motto “We take off to take care” was attended by 2250 employees in Frankfurt and Munich, seated on stands around 200 metres long. This afforded all of them the best view of the show, the digital runway in the middle and the Boeing as a staged symbol of the future.

The Lufthansa employees were not just guests, however, but also became a visible part of the brand staging. Portraits were made of each of them live at the event at scan stations and projected directly onto the Boeing 787 as impressive line art mapping. A further highlight was the photobooth station that virtually merged the photos of the participants at both locations.

It was not only Frankfurt and Munich that had a live connection. The whole staging with a show could be followed and shared by the employees live in the digital stream and on social media under the #HelloPapaAlpha hashtag. It was a complex large-scale event that had to take account of the extensive security aspects of the airports and at the same time had to be realised within a short time schedule.
