Description

To present the Marc Cain autumn/winter collections 2018, the fashion brand issued invitations to U3 Berlin. The location is an unused underground station right under Potsdamer Platz. The tunnel with its impressive length and special atmosphere became the setting for a reminiscence of the 1980s. Inspired by the legendary “Studio 54” in New York, Marc Cain received their guests under the motto “Members Only”.

Neon tube lights and black light, alongside 80s beats, created a special club atmosphere in the Berlin underground. Graffiti was sprayed on site onto canvases within one and a half days just before the show by Urban Nation artists and placed prominently. The show was opened by Victoria’s Secret Angel Georgia Fowler. Loud color accents and glossy materials, in combination with muted sounds and fluffy manes of curly hair brought the 80s back to life on the catwalk.
