Constellations is a fascinating audiovisual installation by the artist Joanie Lemercier. A journey through a black hole into a cosmos of geometric forms and structures.
The effect of the unconventional projection surface is particularly exciting. With the help of a mist of water particles, the projection floats in the air. Electronic soundscapes by Paul Jebanasam accompany the installation. The spray is generated by a device made especially for this purpose and frees Lemercier projections from conventional, rigid projection screens.
Constellations is on tour and is presented at various light festivals and public places around the world.
