Audio-Visual Installation “The Day We Left Field”
Tundra
Description
Inspired by the natural environment and its place in the modern urban landscape, the light installation takes blades of grass as its main figures. Above the heads of the visitors, they sway rhythmically - visually and auditorily - forming a floating meadow. The sight of nature in a closed urban landscape is meant to remind viewers of binary oppositions: synthetic vs. natural, real vs. virtual, human vs. machine.
This installation was shown, among others, at the Prosvet Festival 2019 in Perm.
