Online Presentation: The Ocean Cleanup – From Trash To Treasure

For the Dutch non-profit organization The Ocean Cleanup, BIND, Dutch Matters and JUR realized a sleek and impactful online presentation in October 2020.

As an NGO, The Ocean Cleanup develops advanced technologies to rid the world's oceans of plastic. To close the loop on their mission, they want to make products from the plastic they fish out of the ocean. That will also fund the continued cleanup. In 2020, they recycled the first batch of plastic that came from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch and turned it into a durable and valuable product: a very special pair of sunglasses.

Part of the online presentation was a collaborative live unboxing with supporters of the organization. They were involved in the setup and event via hanging LCD displays. On the other side, more LCD displays were hanging, through which the Ocean Cleanup team was integrated.
