The smartphone manufacturer OPPO sought to create a market launch with a wow effect. A launch event that would cement their reputation as an industry leader and go beyond conventional product launches. On this basis, Uniplan created the OPPO campaign “Awaken Colour”, which appealed primarily to international journalists and technology enthusiasts.
The result combined the technical information necessary for a product launch with presentations by company representatives: influential creative minds who presented their contributions as stories told with excitement. The presentation invited spectators to get to grips with the product‘s technology and to immerse themselves in the colour concept of the new OPPO series.
The film “The Evolution of Colours” by the Canadian documentary film director Zhang Qiaoyong was integrated as a documentary element. This upgraded the format in terms of content and showed the added value of the technology.
In order to realise a project as captivating as possible, international partners, directors and specialists in extended reality and post-production were hired. This brought the products to life to great effect and, by means of virtually generated scenes, resulted in fascinating content.
