“Parallels”: An artistic view into a neural network

“Parallels” is a site-specific installation by Marc Da Costa and Matthew Niederhauser based on machine learning. As an interactive sculpture, it brings new technologies directly into the landscape and living environment. An LED wall becomes a portal, allowing viewers to see through the lens of a neural network. Photos of the surroundings are captured, reinterpreted, and presented in the local context.
