Under the motto "A Timeless Machine," the new 911 model was celebrated with a 5,000-square-meter Porsche exhibition in Shanghai. For ten days it took visitors through the history of the iconic sports car, through the visions, stories and developments of the classic through to the presentation of the new model. The exhibition, which was managed by VOK DAMS, was deliberately designed to appeal to different target groups and was open to the public after the VIP opening.
Four areas focusing on design and lifestyle, tradition, motorsport and the new 911 were staged with elaborate installations. Expert interviews and discussions provided visitors with additional specialist information. One of the highlights was a test drive of the Porsche 911. At the opening and VIP night, which was held in advance, selected guests and representatives of the press were the first to be given access to the new Porsche 911. In addition to presentations and interviews, there was an exclusive after-show party for celebrities, VIP guests and the press.
