“Porta Estel-lar”: An Interstellar Journey

Porta Estel-lar is Catalan and means as much as star gate. This is precisely what the PlayMID (Playmodes + MID) installation wants to open up for visitors. An audiovisual experience in an airplane that wants to recreate an interstellar journey. Starting from take-off and entry into space, through the observation of comets, planets, distant galaxies and extraterrestrial worlds, to the final return to Earth.

The plane itself is also an art project by Eduardo Cajal, who bought it and transformed it into a place for art performances.
