The art festival Art Berlin emerged in 2017 from the partnership between abc art berlin contemporary and Art Cologne. The fair presents national and international galleries that show a comprehensive overview of the current art market. An event that the company Samsung used for themselves. They wanted to attract attention with an artistic-technical promotion campaign.
The focus of the “Re: imagine StreetARt” campaign was on the trendy and activating art field “Street Art”. In collaboration with the agency Cheil Germany and five international artists, artworks were created in pop-up galleries, on walls and around monuments. The special feature was an augmented reality app that extended the conceptual ideas to an additional level of expression and experience. The artists were able to think their works on a digital level and provide visitors with a complementary experience using a mobile phone.
