Since spring 2020, hardly any exhibitions and brand events have been possible. Showrooms and retail spaces have remained largely closed. Companies have been forced to come up with alternatives for staying in contact – now, as well as in future. Schüco therefore consciously set up a longterm strategy for reaching people emotionally through digital channels. Together with D’art Design, 27KM and other partners, they developed the platform “Innovation Now” with an associated digital “Event Space”. A digital studio scenario was created with its own identity. The focus is on cinematic experiences in digital space.
The web platform receives visitors in a darkened event and cinema atmosphere. The navigation is simple and intuitive. Throughout the year, product presentations, events and themed specials were held within the Schüco focus themes of “Health”, “Smart” and “Security”. Livestreaming events, for example from the “innovation garage”, hybrid events as well as fully digitally produced content were combined.
The result is a seamless amalgamation of film, animation, event, campaign, showroom and brand space – a design system across different media that can be developed further within the international structure of the company. Style guides show how the design system works in detail and can be adapted for different media specific to countries and target groups. In order to position “i.Now“ as an independent brand, a special design language was developed that can be integrated seamlessly into the corporate design of the company.
