In order to present the current and future highlights of Daimler Trucks & Buses during the pandemic era, MUTABOR developed a new specific format for Daimler Truck AG: a hybrid event under the motto “Shaping the Now & Next”. In compliance with current hygiene regulations, around 60 selected media representatives were invited to the company’s own site information centre in Wörth am Rhein. At the same time, an interactive livestream was broadcast on a specially developed digital platform.
A comprehensive entertainment format was developed for the online participants: AR-supported live keynotes, public surveys, workshops, masterclasses, product presentations with the incorporation of real vehicles, as well as contenton-demand. Through the combination of Greenscreen and AR technology, the keynote speakers performed in a virtual studio whose appearance adapted to the different themes. The subsequent Deep Dive sessions were also broadcast live and extended on the digital platform through a wide range of content-on-demand and chat functions, as well as a virtual Q&A session. This resulted in an analogue event compliant with coronavirus measures, with a virtual event twin – characterised by a uniform design language, a synchronous event timeline and a digital equivalent for all the facets of the event.
