“SHEERIN Pavilion”: Artificial canyon – authentic experience

The SHEERIN Pavilion at Guangzhou Design Week 2023 created a spectacular spatial setting: an artificial canyon made of sintered stone immerses visitors in a monumental landscape – between natural illusion and precise spatial geometry. The design played with the contrast between artificial material and natural aesthetics, creating an atmospheric stage for the material and brand.

Architecturally, the pavilion impressed with its sophisticated combination of statics, structure, and appearance. The open construction of steel, wood, and stone was developed iteratively until form and supporting structure became one.
