Description

The Swarovski Crystal Worlds succeeded in creating a special attraction amidst the Tyrolean mountain landscape. The world of experience conceived by André Heller consists largely of a park and an art museum designed to amaze and enthral visitors. In January and February 2018, the attractiveness and renown of the Crystal Worlds were to be increased even further by means of a new feature for a limited period. This resulted in the idea of a light festival that set a surprising new scene for the existing park landscape with light and sound.

Studionow developed a concept that built on the original and told of a magical world. The content told the story of the giant, the central figure of the Crystal Worlds, who dreams of his world travels and adventures. Each act of the show was one of these crazy, lively and dramatic dreams with talking animals, magic eyes, giants and dwarves, unicorns, witches, clowns and medicine men. International light, media and sound artists created a spectacular audiovisual show for this. The existing park elements were extended by means of dramatic, narrative and multimedia components designed to create a wonderworld in which dream and reality become one. As a highlight, an over 100-feet-high ferris wheel illuminated by 400,000 LED lights was installed and incorporated into the setting.
