Description

As part of the digitisation projects within BMW AG, a new world of experience was to be created that acquainted the BMW employees and external partners with the topics of Catena-X and AI, as well as data analytics. The former Data Transformation Space in the research and innovation centre FIZ of the BMW Group in Munich was chosen as the venue.

The aim of the project is to enable all departments to make data-driven decisions and improve their processes. Regardless of their educational degree, area of work or task profile, hierarchy, location or department, all employees are to be provided with the possibility of using the central transformative technologies of digitisation.

The idea of PHOCUS BRAND CONTACT was The Pulse – a space as a “provider of imPULSEs”. In cooperation with morgenluft.jetzt, the agency created a place of encounter that allows the visitors to immerse themselves of their own accord in the world of artificial intelligence, as well as a collaborative data room.

The interaction with “The Pulse” is based on the principle of ‘bring your own device’. By means of a QR code, every internet-enabled end device becomes a remote control for content, interaction and space. Visitors can navigate independently through the content modules or have suitable content snippets proposed by the algorithm.

Every interaction in turn leaves traces in the data room and therefore content for the so-called collaborative colour flow. It is the basis for the visualisation of all the data created in the room. User interaction and knowledge acquisition are visualised using a real time engine and trending topics are displayed, which makes each new visit an interesting experience every time.
