Description

The pandemic forced the semiconductor manufacturer NXP Semiconductors N.V. to convert a live exhibition presence at the annual CES into a virtual experience within a few months, as a completely different concept. Together with SOLIDSENSE, the exchange of information was translated from direct contact and physical exhibits into a virtual concept. The result is a virtual platform with over 45 system solutions – a virtual technology showroom that is designed to appeal to a variety of professional target groups and convey product content through different channels.

Each system solution demonstrates several products and information layers through various media: interactive builddemo experiences, infographics, texts and videos. Visitors can explore content on a more general level or immerse themselves in products, technologies and architectures in greater detail. Alternatively, there is the possibility to run through a preproduced “Guided Walkthrough” with NXP experts. The showroom primarily serves independent discovery. Users are guided by visual highlights and pop-up menus. At the end of a demonstration, it can be shared, or one can watch further thematically related demonstrations. The platform can be used on the PC as well as on mobile devices - and is also used as a digital tool for training, e-learning and product presentations.
