The Chinese brand vivo is among the five largest smartphone manufacturers worldwide. However, in Germany up until now the name has only been known to industry experts. At the end of October 2020, a virtual event was designed to provide the official starting shot for the brand and product launch in Europe. This was a particular challenge, as the market launch of an Asian brand on European terrain requires a good understanding of cultural differences and the necessary adaptations to the European market.
MUTABOR developed a digital launch event with around 600 invited media representatives and business partners. A livestream with exclusive insights, product presentations and a Q&A session was offered in six languages on a provided platform. The brand launch in Europe was realised with the help of colleagues from the various European countries and staged at the VIVO headquarters in Dusseldorf. The CEO and various employees provided the first insights into the new European smartphone range. Apart from the product presentations, the partnership with UEFA for the forthcoming football European Cup and UEFA
