Description

The world premiere of the Mercedez-Benz A-Class L Sedan took place the day before Auto China 2018 in Beijing. The presentation was not to be reserved just for media representatives but also extended to the public. The team at Oliver Schrott Kommunikation developed a typical local and colourful event design for this, equipped with interaction possibilities and entertaining elements.

On the forecourt of the shopping centre Taikoo Li Sanlitun, in front of the adjacent Mercedes me Store and very close to the media presentation, creative activities and games surrounding the letter A invited those attending to participate. Under the title “Life is a Collection of A+ Moments”, visitors were enticed with an entertaining festival atmosphere. The possibilities included various photo and selfie opportunities all around the car. Guests experienced the spaciousness of its interior for example by doing yoga on the back seat. The highlight of the event was the actual presentation of the new sedan, which was transmitted through live coverage of the media event on the forecourt.
