Description

The Urbanetic is a new concept car by Mercedes-Benz Vans. The car has been developed for the city traffic of the future and is to serve both as a transport vehicle and as a passenger car. Its concept envisages that it will be on the road autonomously 24 hours a day 7 days a week and it is designed to fulfill various requirements. The key structural feature is that it is based on an autonomous chassis that can support additions for transporting passengers or goods.

Oliver Schrott Kommunikation developed an idea that was supposed to give visitors a feeling of travelling through space and time – on a rotating stand. In less than 10 minutes, the platform turned clockwise and recounted the unfolding of an Urbanetic day in the future. The different functions of the concept vehicle and the vision behind it were staged as a comprehensive experience – and enriched with a kinetic element in the interests of comprehensive media reporting.
