In the year 2020, the communication agency pulsmacher turned 20 years old. For the special anniversary, the agency gave itself an album with 20 tracks that represent where pulsmacher comes from, what it now stands for and what direction it should take in future. It was produced by artists from the “pulsmacher family” and given as a gift to friends, partners and customers as a vinyl double album and digital download. The publication of the album was originally supposed to be celebrated with a big release party in March. Because of the coronavirus, it was postponed to October and could then only be held under strict measures and with 50 guests. In order to create a great moment despite all this, a hybrid concept was designed to entertain and enthuse both guests on site and spectators at home.
The guiding thread of the evening were the 20 tracks on the album. They were performed by the artists live on stage or played digitally and complemented by specially produced visuals coordinated with the music. In terms of content, the three managing directors led the way through the evening and welcomed musicians, friends and longstanding partners to the talk on the stage. This resulted in a varied, almost two-hour format in TV quality. The show was recorded by four cameras and streamed in HD on a microsite. The recording of the event, accompanied by a social media campaign with teaser videos, was subsequently published on the microsite, where all the album tracks with information about the artists, song texts and visualisations are also available.
